death to doctors

This is a tough semester. By tough semester, I mean.. I am taking the two hardest classes my college offers. Concurrently. With two other classes. I am also working in a lab via Harvard Medical School, attempting to maintain a social life, and trying to get a little bit of sleep every once in a while. Next June I am expected to take the (tied for) hardest standardized exam ever written. In precisely one year's time, I will either have the rest of my life sealed in success, or not. If I can prevail in these next eight months, everything I want to do, everything I want to be, everything I want to buy, will be within arm's reach. This is it. Twenty years into my life and this is the year that counts. But can I keep my head above water?

I need to stay focused. That means one particular thing: no distractions of the xx origin. I feel lonely and needy here and there, but these are just simple somatic drives, nothing that I can't overpower. I must avoid excess stress, drama, anxiety and anything that could possibly slow me down. I'm traveling at near-light speed right now. Let's hope that I can travel the 7.0953963 × 1015 m to my destination, eight months from now. Fuck bitches, get doctorates. Let's do this.
